Objective
The objective of this project was to create a movie poster using photo-bashing techniques in Photoshop for a self-made short story.
Process
I started crafting my movie poster by gathering images that matched the film’s theme. Importing them into Photoshop, I used the photo-bashing technique to create a compelling collage, focusing on composition and seamless blending. I refined details, adjusted colours and lighting, adding depth with brushes and textures for a cinematic feel.
Typography was crucial, with carefully chosen fonts enhancing the genre and storyline. Placing the film title and credits strategically, I aimed for an aesthetically pleasing design that conveyed essential information.
Constantly evaluating the composition, I made adjustments to maintain balance. Once satisfied, I saved and exported the high-resolution poster suitable for printing or online promotion. The photo-bashing process in Photoshop not only let me experiment with visual elements but also brought the movie’s essence to life in a captivating way.
